10 Things I Have Noticed & How I am Transforming Since I Started Writing Weekly On Substack
Self Inquiry Prompts Included
The joyful flow state and love I have for writing can be traced back to my childhood.
I am fascinated by words and the artist dance of streaming them together that allows readers to feel their feelings, and connect themselves to themselves in more whole and raw ways.
Since I learned, my loyalty to writing has been steadfast, but my consistency to move the creative work from inside of me to outside of me, to write, has been variable.
Switching to Substack from my previous newsletter platform has been a profound influence and support to my vision and goals.
Substack has been a solid container, kind of like a landing pad. The community aspect feeds the Mama Bear within me, to be a steady space for others to arrive.
It supports my own accountability to my path.
I have been active on Substack for just shy of one month now, writing weekly articles, sharing notes and joining the conversations of other like minded Souls who realize the value of artistic expression.
Here Are The 10 Things I Have Noticed Since I Started Writing Weekly On Substack:
I write more in my head than I ever have before.
My creativity and ideas are on fire.
Really, they are. I fall asleep with new writing prompts, wake to take notes and then allow my dreams to do their magic of the inspired flow.
I want to write everyday. I am excited.
I have a ritual for writing that includes warm teas, stretching, breathing, music with no words (and candle light at night), and time with Nature without writing, just being.
My time on social media has been replaced with writing. It feels whole.
I value the Substack community and the accountably support.
The content from others is inspiring, beautiful and a growth mindset.
I realize I am closer to writing my books. Things feel tangible.
I am optimist and also, feel really grounded about what is to come.
Entering To The Heart — Returning Home
All this writing feels I have returned home, again.
While the energetic location is different and I am different too, this home has a richer feel to it.
I find each time we revisit our old selves with the fresh skin of our new selves, we heal a little more. We see a little more clearly, accept and can embrace what the human lesson was for our Soul.
And at times, we can smile, truly smile and hold that younger part of us with sweetness.
We can learn the art of sighing into the beauty of our transformations.
Self Inquiry Prompt
What is something that you have been wanting to do or try for awhile?
How come you have not tried it yet?
How could you make it happen?
Will you allow yourself to start?
What support will you need to help make it happen?
Please share your feedback in the comments. Putting our goals and dreams out there can be a reflective mirror to nourish our action, and to inspire each other!
Thanks for being here.
Take care of you.
Take care of one another.
Much Love,
Kristina Renée
